Get familiar with the support you have
Since 2018, TU Delft has implemented different support teams around research data and software management:
Faculty Data Stewards: Your faculty Data Steward is the first contact point for any inquiries related to research data management and sharing.
DCC TU Delft Digital Competence Centre (DCC): The DCC is an on-campus support team that can help you organise your research workflow in many aspects related to data and software. They do so by implementing FAIR best practices, contributing to training on the use of digital tools, and connecting you to the right people within our network who can assist or advise you. Two or three times per year the DCC also sends out a call for hands-on support for projects with software development and/or data management components.
Data Champions: The TU Delft Data Champions is an initiative of the Open Science community Delft (OSC Delft). A Data Champion is a researcher practising or advocating for good research data management who is interested in sharing their data management tips and tricks with others. There are Data Champions in each faculty, so if you are looking for inspiration get in touch with them.
